Terms of Service

Last updated: 25 September 2026

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of PathMiner’s websites, applications, APIs, MCP integrations, and related services (collectively, the “Service”). By creating an account, starting a trial, making a purchase, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. The Service

PathMiner provides AI-assisted tools to help you explore income and career paths, generate roadmaps and daily tasks, track progress, use coaching features, store library items, and (where available) connect third-party AI clients via OAuth/MCP. Features may change over time. Free and paid capabilities differ as described on our pricing and product pages.

2. Eligibility and accounts

  • You must be at least 16 years old (or the age of digital consent in your country) and legally able to enter a binding contract.
  • You must provide accurate registration information and keep it up to date.
  • You are responsible for safeguarding your login credentials and for activity under your account. Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use at [email protected].
  • One person or organization should not create multiple accounts to abuse trials, promotions, rate limits, or payment systems.

3. Your content and inputs

“User Content” means information you submit or upload — including intake answers, your own ideas, coach messages, files, check-ins, income logs, and library materials.

  • You retain ownership of your User Content.
  • You grant PathMiner a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, process, transmit, display, and create derivative works from User Content solely as needed to operate, secure, and improve the Service (including sending content to AI and infrastructure providers under our instructions).
  • You represent that you have the rights to submit User Content and that it does not violate law or third-party rights.
  • Do not upload malware, unlawful content, or others’ confidential information without authorization.

4. AI-generated output — important disclaimer

PathMiner uses artificial intelligence to generate paths, scores, roadmaps, tasks, coaching replies, documents, and related suggestions (“Outputs”).

  • Outputs are informational only. They are not financial, investment, tax, legal, medical, or employment advice, and they are not a guarantee of income, job offers, business success, or any particular result.
  • Outcomes depend on your effort, skills, market conditions, regulations, and many factors outside our control. Income ranges and timelines are estimates, not promises.
  • You are solely responsible for decisions you make based on Outputs, including starting a business, changing jobs, pricing offers, or contacting customers.
  • Outputs may be incomplete, outdated, or incorrect. You should independently verify critical information before acting.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for unlawful, deceptive, fraudulent, or harmful purposes
  • Promote or request guidance for illegal schemes, MLM abuse, gambling/betting systems, market manipulation, or other excluded categories we may list in-product
  • Attempt to reverse engineer, scrape, overload, or disrupt the Service or its APIs
  • Bypass paywalls, entitlement checks, rate limits, or security controls
  • Share account access in a way that violates these Terms or plan limits
  • Use automated systems to extract Outputs at scale for competing products without our written permission
  • Harass others or submit content that is abusive, hateful, or infringing
  • Misuse connected apps (MCP/OAuth) to access data beyond scopes you are authorized to use

We may investigate violations and suspend or terminate accounts that abuse the Service.

6. Subscriptions, trials, and billing

6.1 Plans and pricing

Paid plans, prices, currencies, and features are shown at checkout and on our pricing page. Prices may vary by country. Plans are billed monthly. We may change prices prospectively; existing subscriptions renew at the rate then in effect unless we notify you otherwise as required by law.

6.2 Trials

Where offered, a trial may require a valid payment method (card, UPI Autopay, or equivalent) upfront. Unless you cancel before the trial ends, your subscription typically converts to a paid plan and you will be charged. Trial length and eligibility (including one trial per user/payment method where enforced) are as stated at signup or in product notices.

6.3 Payment processors

Payments are processed by third parties such as Razorpay (commonly for India / INR) and Stripe (commonly for other regions). Their terms and privacy policies also apply to payment processing. PathMiner does not store full payment card numbers.

6.4 Renewals and cancellation

  • Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled.
  • You may cancel through in-app billing settings, the Stripe customer portal (where available), or by contacting support. Cancellation usually takes effect at the end of the current billing period unless stated otherwise.
  • If payment fails, we may retry charges, downgrade access, or suspend paid features until payment succeeds.

6.5 Refunds

Unless a specific money-back guarantee or refund policy is stated at checkout or required by applicable law (including cooling-off rights in some jurisdictions), fees are generally non-refundable once a billing period has started. If you believe you were charged in error, contact [email protected] promptly with your account email and payment reference. Promotional coupons apply only as described at redemption and may not be combined unless we say otherwise.

6.6 Access after lapse

If a trial ends without payment or a subscription lapses, access to paid features may end. We may retain read-only access to certain past content (e.g. roadmap or library) for a limited time as described in-product, but we are not obligated to keep data forever.

7. Intellectual property

  • PathMiner and its licensors own the Service, branding, software, prompts, designs, and documentation. These Terms do not transfer ownership to you.
  • Subject to these Terms and your plan, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service for your personal or internal business purposes.
  • You may use Outputs for your own projects, subject to third-party rights and the disclaimers in Section 4. You may not claim PathMiner endorses your business or misrepresent Outputs as human professional advice.

8. Third-party services and integrations

The Service may integrate with third parties (AI providers, payment processors, email, identity providers, MCP clients). We are not responsible for third-party services’ availability, content, or policies. Your use of a connected app is at your own risk; revoke access anytime in Settings if you no longer trust that client.

9. Beta and changing features

Some features may be experimental or labeled beta. They may be modified or discontinued without liability. We may update the Service continuously; material removals of core paid functionality may be communicated when practical.

10. Suspension and termination

You may stop using the Service at any time and may request account deletion by contacting support. We may suspend or terminate access immediately if you breach these Terms, create risk of harm or legal exposure, fail to pay, or if we discontinue the Service. Upon termination, your license ends; provisions that by nature should survive (disclaimers, limitations, indemnity, payment obligations) will survive.

11. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE AND OUTPUTS ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, PATHMINER DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR THAT OUTPUTS WILL MEET YOUR EXPECTATIONS OR PRODUCE ANY ECONOMIC RESULT.

12. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, PATHMINER AND ITS AFFILIATES, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AND SUPPLIERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE OR OUTPUTS, WHETHER BASED ON WARRANTY, CONTRACT, TORT, OR ANY OTHER LEGAL THEORY, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID TO PATHMINER FOR THE SERVICE IN THE THREE (3) MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR (B) USD $50 (OR EQUIVALENT). SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW CERTAIN LIMITATIONS; IN THOSE CASES OUR LIABILITY IS LIMITED TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED.

13. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless PathMiner and its affiliates from claims, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your User Content, your use of Outputs, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any law or third-party rights.

14. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, unless mandatory consumer protection laws in your country of residence require otherwise. Courts in India shall have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes, subject to any non-waivable rights you have to bring claims in your local courts. Before filing a claim, you agree to contact us at [email protected] and attempt to resolve the dispute informally for at least 30 days.

15. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms by posting a revised version with a new “Last updated” date. Material changes may be notified by email or in-product notice. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance. If you do not agree, stop using the Service and cancel any subscription.

16. Miscellaneous

  • If any provision is unenforceable, the remainder remains in effect.
  • Failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver.
  • You may not assign these Terms without our consent; we may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
  • These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any plan-specific terms shown at checkout, are the entire agreement between you and PathMiner regarding the Service.
